Students are encouraged to be part of school life at Our Lady's. There are various committees and groups that they are affiliated to . These include:


Student Council: Students from 1st. To 6th. Years are elected by their peers to represent the views of the Student Body. Liason Teacher: Adeleine Bruen.
Liason Team:  Karen Hannify, Sarah Reenan, Edel Malone. This Years Student representatives are pictured below:

Student Council Elections were held in the GPA, this was a very good experience for all the students to see the democratic way that the Council was elected.

Prefects: Twenty 6th. Year Students elected by Staff & Students who assist in various ways with day to day routine. Coordinator: Mary Brohan.

Peer Support: Twenty 6th. Year Students selected by outside interview and trained to help and support other students, particularly younger ones and those experiencing difficulties. Coordinator: Noelle Brophy.

The current group of Peer support students who are a great support to the first years and encourage these new students to take part in the many lunch time activities available.  This is a great fun way to meet and make new friends

Careers Committee: A group of students who assist in the dissemination of Careers information. Joe Hanratty.

Venture Committee: A group of Transition Year Students who assist in the planning, preparation and publication of the school magazine.

Media Committee: A group of Transition Year Students who help in school promotion and public relations.
