Our
school has a full time Guidance Counsellor who
oversees the Guidance and Counselling service in
the school. The Guidance and Counselling service
provides for the personal, educational and
career development of our students. The Guidance
Counsellor participates in and coordinates the
school guidance and counselling service. The
guidance programme can be categorised under
three integrated areas of activity. Personal
Guidance and counselling, educational Guidance
and counselling and career Guidance and
counselling.
Through the career guidance programme students
are helped clarify career decisions through
research, which is facilitated by an up to date
careers library and through the use of careers
computer software, individual interviews and
psychometric testing. Talks, visits to career
