Fundraising Coffee Morning

LCA students organised a coffee morning in aid of North Louth Hospice and Homecare Foundation, where they prepared beautiful treats for members of the staff in the staffroom during breaktime.  It was very well organised under the supervision of Ms McGeeney and raised a lot of money for a very worthwhile cause.

Fundraising for Bothar

LCA Students were very busy recently organising a number of very important events.  On Wednesday Dec 15th they prepared a beautiful Coffee morning for all Staff in the Staffroom at break time, with all the tasty refreshments freshly made by the class themselves . It was a lovely idea and raised money for a very worthwhile cause.  On Thursday Dec 16th they organised a craft sale in Miss Fox's room where they had a wonderful range of Christmas decorations, logs, cones, all hand made and decorated by themselves as part of their Horticulture module, again all funds raised went to the charity Bothar.

Sports Task

For their sports task the LCA group organised a soccer blitz for the all first years on Dec 16th, it was held in the Gym because of the very wintry weather conditions outside.  They were busy coming up to the event making sure all the first year students and their teachers were aware of what was going to happen on the afternoon. They had to get first year class lists and divide them up into 4 boys teams and 4 girls teams, organise different coloured bibs for each team and make sure the hall was set up properly. The first years loved it, they got to show off their soccer skills, play against different teams and enjoy watching lots of other games, in a friendly atmosphere.
